Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of [APP_NAME] ("the Service"), operated at procrastination.fans. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

[APP_NAME] is a personal task management application that allows you to create and organize tasks, track subscriptions, and optionally sync with Google Calendar and Telegram. The Service is currently provided free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce paid plans in the future; existing free features will not be removed without notice.

2. Accounts

You must provide a valid email address to create an account, either directly or through Google OAuth.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
One person, one account. Automated or bot-created accounts are not permitted.
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

3. Your Data

You retain full ownership of any content you create in the Service (tasks, notes, subscription records). We claim no intellectual property rights over your content. See our Privacy Policy for details on how your data is collected, stored, and protected.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other users' accounts, or the underlying infrastructure.
Interfere with or disrupt the Service (e.g. denial-of-service attacks, automated scraping at scale, or circumventing rate limits).
Use the Service to store or transmit malware or harmful content.
Resell access to the Service without written permission.

5. Google Calendar Integration

If you choose to connect your Google Calendar, the Service will access your calendar data as described in our Privacy Policy. This integration is optional and can be disconnected at any time from your Settings. Our use of Google data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

6. Service Availability

The Service is provided on a self-hosted infrastructure. While we make reasonable efforts to maintain availability, we do not guarantee any specific uptime percentage. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned downtime.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. You use the Service at your own risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator of the Service shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory on which the claim is based.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

9. Account Termination

By you: you can delete your account at any time from Settings. Upon deletion, all your data will be permanently removed as described in the Privacy Policy.
By us: we may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. We will attempt to notify you by email before or at the time of termination, unless the violation is severe or ongoing.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the app or email at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Spain, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection provisions that may apply in your country of residence.
